My view of HUM 110 Technology and Society was a very interesting and informative class. We only met once a week because it was a Hybrid class, and most of our class work was done via the Internet using Blackboard.
I learned so many things from early inventions, as far back as, the mid 1700’s up to the some of the current inventions of science and technology throughout our society and world today. My instructor Mr. Solomon was well prepared with materials and background for all of the topics we studies. He sometimes went more in-depth to assure us that we had a better and clear understanding of the covered material.
Communication played a great part in learning in this class, which was very positive and of importance. If we had questions he would give us an answer, and if he was not sure, he would always say “Let’s Google it”, and we would discover the information as a class.
The information and knowledge that I have obtained from this class will help me to focus a little more on the environmental, social, science, and technological changes that are being made; not only in our society, but throughout the world. These changes will affect both human, and animal life as a whole.
